Do not use on stove top May 22, 2010

Printed on the lid of this pot are the words 'DO NOT USED ON STOVE TOP.' This is not in the description.We wanted a hot pot for use on the stove. We are not obeying the note. So far, it is working fine. It is much better than a previous pot that had a plastic handle built too close to the stove that sometimes melted.Apparently we will not be able to find an old-fashioned glass hot pot.

Krups 141 Replacement Carafe December 18, 2011

This carafe is fine as a suitable replacement for Krups model 141 coffee maker; original Krups carafe is no longer available :(If you are fussy, you'll most likely find something wrong with it. We however were just looking for a carafe that would come close to fitting our old Krups coffee maker which makes excellent coffee ;)And you can't beat the price!

I chose this carafe as it was reasonably priced and fit my coffee pot. The cup markers are inconclusive as they give several cup ranges. The lid is difficult to remove and one of the hinges broke the first time I tried to remove it. Now I need to spend what I should have spent in the first place and the cost of the carafe has just gone up. Probably better to have just purchased a new coffee pot.

Doesn't fit Krups 121; difficult lid
Purchased this to replace a broken carafe on an otherwise perfectly good Krups 121. The online description said it fits most Krups. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit in the 121. Read more
